I devoured Ines de la Fressange's gorgeous new book "Parisian Chic" and put so many sticky tabs on the pages that I am now taking them off, is there any point in earmarking every page? She imparts her impeccable style tips along with directions to unlock "Ines's Paris".
Some of her fashion musings:
Never wear a necklace and earrings at the same time - too much!
Matching tights, shoes, and bag. No you can't.
Leggings. Seldom a good look on anyone.
Bye-bye bling.
Don't go for the head-to-toe!
The Parisian detests anything too obvious.
Beware of good taste (I LOVE THIS!)
Oh and Ines yes I agree that some rules are meant to be broken, including the ones in this guide! I detest leather jackets and would list them as a fashion "no no" not a basic, but this is why fashion is fun, non?
